It has been 40 years since The Jam's "In The City" was released in May 1977. This is the latest work by Paul Weller, the UK's leader of The Jam, The Style Council, and a legendary solo act. The core lineup includes keyboardist Andy Crofts (The Moons) and drummer Ben Gaudelier (The Moons), who also played in the Paul Weller Band, and Steve Craddock (Ocean Colour Scene), who has toured with the band in Japan, and has played with the band on their tours. Steve Pilgrim, who has toured with the band in Japan before, contributes to several songs on the album. Includes commentary, lyrics, and bilingual translation.
