Although the three had never performed together as a trio before, they quickly began inspiring one another and exploring new sounds and musical forms. We had discussed them beforehand, but we couldn’t rehearse until just before our first performance in Padua. I think we found a way to make music together as soon as we started playing in front of an audience. We talked a lot before the performance, but we realized that making the music meant so much more than just talking about it.” Recorded at the JAZZDOR Festival in Berlin on June 8, 2022.
