This is a mellow album filled with the joy of complex rhythms that combine the exuberance and coolness characteristic of Latin American music with a gentle singing spirit. The album is a masterpiece, and the guest performances by Asi and Rodrigo Carazo are also excellent. Santi Baravalle, aka Banti, is a composer/arranger/keyboardist/singer from Cordoba, Argentina's second largest city.Influenced by a variety of music from Brazilian music, jazz, and soul to reggae, funk, and folklore, he worked for over 10 years as keyboardist/composer for a reggae band called Nuna Malta, where the band achieved great success. Alongside this, he continued to produce his own music and started his career as a solo artist with the single "Vengo Voy" and his first album, Proyecciones, released at the end of 2019. The songful melodies, centered on his own piano and vocals, show a gentle expression of Argentinean music such as Luz de Agua and Carlos Aguirre and Minas music represented by Clubi da Esquina, projecting the diverse rhythms and folklore elements of Latin America. The arrangements give off a variety of colors from song to song. This masterpiece album, which has been called a candidate for the best album of the year in Argentine music, is being released on CD for the first time in the world with artwork supervised by Banti himself!
