NIGHTHAWK is an AOR project founded by Robert Magid, a Swedish musician who is a member of METALITE and CAPTAIN BLACK BEARD, with his debut album "Midnight Hunter" (not released in Japan) in 2021. The project debuted in 2021 with its debut album "Midnight Hunter" (not released in Japan). This is the sequel to their second album and their debut in Japan. The debut album was an exhilarating work with Hammond organ and driving guitars based on the hard rock of the 70s, but it was also notable for the participation of various guest musicians in its production. Major guests included Bjorn Strid (SOILWORK), Robin Erickson (DEGREED), Linea Vickstrom, daughter of THERION's Thomas Vickstrom, and Jonah Tee (H.E.A.T). The fact that the album was produced with Eric Mauldin (WILDNESS) as the producer, it was highly acclaimed by melodic rock lovers with quick ears. After getting a good feeling from the debut album, Robert poured his heart and soul into writing songs for this second album, aiming for even greater heights.At the same time, he needed musicians with solid abilities to record the finished songs, so he recruited Magnus Wolfstedt (ex-ECLIPSE, ROYAL HUNT) on drums, his CAPTAIN BLACK BEARD colleague Christian EK on bass, and on keyboards John Lommia (ACT OF DENIAL) on keyboards. The vocals were recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios. Robert says of the album, "I made this album for the fun experience of working with new people and trying something different, and it turned out great.
