Kevin Coyne, who was the core member of the British blues rock band Siren, has released two CD reissues of his 1992 and 1993 albums. After the breakup of Siren, John Peel fell in love with Kevin Coyne, which led to his solo debut in the 90's. In the 80's, he had a mental breakdown and became addicted to alcohol. He then released his 1992 album "Burning Head" in a limited edition of 1,000 CDs, with each CD jacket painted and signed by Kevin, who was also a painter.The following album, 1993, has a similar sound, with the same quirky, gruff vocals, but with a much more sophisticated and crisp pop-rock sound. The melodies are also pop and colorful, but with a gimmicky feel that is similar to the pop solo works of pub rockers, Kevin Ayers, and John Cale.Dancing with the Sun and Singing in the Moonlight will release their first singles! Dancing with the Sun" will feature POP music with a "play" theme, while "Singing in the Moonlit Night" will feature emotion music with a "girl's diary" theme, and sometimes the two units will mix and mingle. Sometimes they are friends, sometimes rivals. They are not in conflict, but in friendly rivalry to create a story. The title song "Otoi" will be the opening theme for the TV anime "Silly Angel Dances with the Devil. (C)RS
