Decca is pleased to announce the release of a collection of superb arias by Cecilia Bartoli, one of the most popular, talented, and beautiful Italian mezzo-sopranos of our time. The collection also includes two previously unreleased arias from Handel's opera "Alcina," as well as popular arias and duets from operas by composers ranging from Handel and Porpora in the early 18th century to Gluck, Mozart, and the three great Italian opera masters of the 19th century, Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti.
