Lisa Friend, who has gained popularity through her solo recordings for SignumClassics and Champs Hill Records in the UK, finally makes her Chandos debut! Lisa Friend's first Chandos release is an important repertoire of Mozart flute quartets presented with members of the Brodsky Quartet. With noble tone and assured technique, the quartet brings out Mozart's wit, beauty, and elegance.Mordechai Lechtman (b.1926), who arranged "Andante for Flute and Orchestra K.315" to "Work for Flute and String Trio," is an Israeli musician who formerly served as principal bassoonist of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and is active as a conductor and arranger.
