He has not only released new albums that summarize the words he still wants to convey to the world today, but also continues to release archival series that unravel his brilliant catalog of rock history, rare live recordings, and unreleased sound sources, and never stops sharing his songs and words with the world. Since the beginning of 2022, he has released three official bootleg series, a rare unreleased studio album, and an official release series box. This release is a new live recording from Willie. The new release is "Noise and Flowers," a live album of the 2019 European tour with Promise of the Real, Willie Nelson's son. It is a live album documenting the nine-date tour, which began just two weeks after Elliott Roberts, Neil Young's lifelong friend and manager for over 50 years, passed away at age 76. Neil Young had a photo of Elliott taped to his road case and approached each European concert as a ceremony to remember and mourn his departed friend. The legendary singer/songwriter described the journey as "just wonderful.In the album liner notes, Neil Young says, "Playing in his memory made this the most special tour ever. We went on tour and captured his great spirit in every song. This music doesn't belong to anyone, it's in the air and shared with everyone. Every "note" was played for Elliott, a great friend of the music.
