Celso Albero, the young Spanish tenor acclaimed as "the heir to Klaus and Carreras," makes his debut album on the Sony Classical label. Albero was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain in 1976. After studying voice at the conservatory in his hometown, he continued his studies at the Queen Sofia Conservatory in Madrid with Tom Krause and Manuel Cid, and continued with Teresa Berganza, Magda Oliviero, and William Matteuzzi, and also studied basic bel canto with Carlo Bergonzi. He also learned the basics of bel canto under Carlo Bergonzi, and his talent blossomed. In 2003, she was invited to open the season of the Cairo Opera House, and in 2004, she sang the Duke of Mantova in "Rigoletto" in Madrid with great success, which marked the beginning of her professional career.In 2006, she performed with Leo Nucci in "Rigoletto" in Busseto, Italy, and made her debut with "Don Pasquale" at the Opera Zurich, where her taut and beautiful voice received great acclaim from critics and audiences alike. Since then, he has steadily built a career and is on the path to stardom as a lyric tenor who will play a leading role in the world of opera in the 21st century. He has been a frequent guest in Japan since 2007, and in 2011, he performed at the Teatro dell'Opera di Bologna in Bologna. Since 2007, he has frequently visited Japan to perform "The Puritans" at the Opera Bologna in 2011 and in a duo recital with Desiree Lancatore in 2012, where his soft, boundless, brilliant high notes created a frenzy of excitement in the audience. He is attracting worldwide attention as one of the best bel canto tenors of our time. Although Albero is popular in opera, this album is a collection of songs in Spanish, which is his specialty, with a selection of works by Spanish-speaking composers of the 20th century.This album allows you to experience Albero's typical singing with deep and spare vocalizations and exquisite strength and weakness in soft and long melodies.
