Francesco Piemontesi recorded Liszt's "Piano Sonatas" and "Superlative Exercises"! Francesco Piemontesi is a master musician who is currently very active mainly in Europe. In recent years, he has been actively releasing music on the PENTATONE label. In this album, he takes on the challenge of Liszt and performs the "Super Exercises" and "Piano Sonatas"! The "48 Exercises for All Major and Minor Keys" (1826) was revised into the "24 Grand Exercises" (1837), and the third draft was revised in 1851 and published in 1852, dedicated to Cerny. It is a completely new style of piano exercises, and has greatly influenced the piano works of Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Bartók, Ligeti, and other composers who followed in his footsteps. Most of the 12 pieces have subtopics, including well-known pieces such as "Mazeppa" and "Demon Fire. Piemontage expresses the character of each piece beautifully and performs them with great expressive power.Piano sonatas in a single movement require not only technique but also the ability to construct music. Expectations for his future performances are even higher! ＜Francesco Piemontage (piano) was born in Switzerland in 1983. He was trained by great pianists such as Alfredo Brendel, Cecile Ousset, and Alexis Weissenberg, and won the third prize at the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in 2007. She has performed with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and other conductors such as Sakari Oramo and Mikhail Pletnyov.
