The soundtrack to the 1976 banned Iranian queer gothic horror classic "Chess of the Wind" has been restored and premiered by Mohammad Reza Asrani. Restored by Martin Scorsese's Film Foundation and released in 2020, the film has been acclaimed as one of the most visionary and daring films in pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema.
