Description:

Born in Catanzaro, southern Italy in 1975, pianist Domenico Codisposti studied with Bruno Mezzena in his native country before moving to the United States to study with Joaquin Atucaro at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He studied with Joaquin Achuaro at Methodist University in Dallas. He won the first prize at the Pilar Bayona International Piano Competition in Zaragoza, where the pianist Sándor Gerzi, a member of the jury, called him "one of the best young concert pianists I know. Codisposti is currently based in Spain, where he is also active as an educator. The format is a hybrid of SACD Stereo/Multichannel and MQA-CD, and the CD layer can be played back as a high-resolution source using MQA-compatible equipment. Tokyo M-Plus
