His arrangement of Elgar: Piano Quintet (orchestral version) & Lieder "Pictures of the Sea" (choral and orchestral version) (AV 2362), released on Avie in 2016, made a splash, reaching the Top 10 on the UK Classical Charts. Donald Fraser's second Avie follows with arrangements of various songs and instrumental pieces from Dowland and Purcell to orchestral versions of songs by Vivaldi, Elgar, Liszt, Ravel, Scriabin, and many others.
