Born in 1986, Edward Nezbitt is based in London, where he composes music, especially vocal music. He studied music at Cambridge University and then at King's College, University of London, where he studied with George Benjamin, and was awarded the Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize in 2010. Other awards include the Academy Composition Prize at the first Verbier Music Festival.Since 2018, while teaching composition at King's College London, he has composed numerous serial songs as well as masses and psalms. *Recordings:June 2023 & June 2024, UK (Tokyo M-Plus)
