As one of the leading viola players of our time, Pierre-Henri Zouereb has been extremely ambitious, performing and recording the viola d'amore, and creating and performing the five-string "grand viola" with a high E string for performances of Paganini's "Concerto for Grand Viola", Schubert's "Arpeggione Sonata" and Bach's "Suite No. 6 for Unaccompanied Cello". Zuereb, who has been extremely ambitious in his activities, including the production and performance of Bach's "Scriptures," is a remarkable project in which he uses a viola d'amore, modern viola, and baroque viola for each movement, and a five-string viola for the last movement of No. 6.
