The prestigious St. John's College Choir! The Choir of St. John's College Cambridge, one of the finest collegiate choirs in the world today, has a proud history and tradition of performing in worship services since the 1670's. Since becoming Music Director in 2007, the choir has created many masterpieces together with Andru Nesinga. Androu Nesinga, who has been a major presence in the St. John's College Choir since moving to Signum Classics, including the first Signum release, a collection of Jonathan Harvey's choral works (SIGCD 456), which won a BBC Music Magazine Award in the choral category. 2018 release is a collection of Vaughan Williams' religious choral works commemorating the centenary of the end of World War I in 1918. Vaughan Williams resumed his musical career after the end of the war, and began to seriously pursue the creation of religious music, and many of the works on this album were also written during this upcoming period.
