ACT signature artist - Vietnamese-French guitarist Nguyen Le. His one and only music is a fusion of jazz and various ethnic music with his unique sensibility! Vietnamese-French guitarist Nguyen Le's new album is now available! Nguyen Le was the first artist to sign an exclusive contract with ACT in 1992, the year ACT music was founded. This album features Le's guitar and electronics in a quartet formation with vibraphone, bass, and drums (percussion). With Vietnamese roots, Le's music is known for its unique sound that combines jazz and world music in a unique way. This album has more elements of jazz and fusion, but still retains the Asian feel that is Le's identity. Seven of the nine songs on this album are original compositions by Le, and the other two were composed by other members of the band. The songs are complex, yet have melody at their core, and each song is appealing without giving the impression of being difficult. In addition, each song has ethnic elements from India, Vietnam, and the Maghreb, carving out Nguyen Le's unique sound that transcends genres and national borders.
