Description:

A replica by Marne, one of the best piano makers of our time! Beguin's most famous album, which recreates the sound of Beethoven's Erard! EVIL PENGUIN RECORDS also releases a disc suitable for the Beethoven Year! In October 1803, Beethoven met a new piano, which was his first piano. It was Beethoven's first foreign-made piano, a 68-key, 5-octave, 5-degree French instrument dedicated by Erard Frères (Erard). The instrument is numbered 133, indicating that this is the 133rd instrument manufactured by Erard in Paris after 1797. Beethoven was fascinated by this instrument and was amazed by the difference in tone and touch of the Viennese instruments he had been exposed to, and wrote new works on it.Tom Begin will perform piano sonatas No. 21 "Waldstein," No. 22, and No. 23 "Passions" from 1803 to 1807, which Beethoven began writing soon after acquiring a new instrument, as well as piano sonatas by Daniel Steibert, who lived at the same time as Beethoven, in G major, Op. The program also features the Piano Sonata in G major, Op.8-2 (1801) by Louis Adan and the Piano Sonata in C major, Op.8-2 (1805) by Daniel Steibert, who was a contemporary of Beethoven. The result is an interesting album through Beethoven and his instruments. The replica was made by Chris Mahne, a Belgian piano maker world-renowned for his restoration of historical pianos. The beautifully crafted replica transports you into the world Beethoven envisioned, and the 136-page booklet (in English) is lavishly illustrated with photographs of the instrument. The booklet also includes a QR code that allows you to watch a video about Beethoven's Erard instruments. This is an extremely valuable resource. King International
