COURT AND SPARK" topped the US Albums Chart and was certified as a double platinum disc, making it the most successful album of Joni's career in terms of sales. It was also nominated for several Grammy Awards, including Best Album, and won for Best Instrumental Arrangement with Vocals for "Down To You. The follow-up, "MILES OF AISLES," a live album recorded on the tour that accompanied "COURT AND SPARK," debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. charts and was certified as a gold disc. The last album, THE HISSING OF SUMMER LAWNS, was also certified as a gold disc, reaching #4 on the album chart and earning a Grammy nomination in the category of Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
