Grammy-nominated Vancouver's own Jada G. releases her latest album! Grammy-nominated DJ/producer/environmental toxicologist/broadcaster Jada G. has remixed for Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa, performed at festivals around the world including Glastonbury and Coachella, and is currently in the spotlight here in Japan. The album is co-produced by Jack Peñate, who has worked with Adele, David Byrne, and others, and also features Ed Thomas, a producer who has worked with Stormzy and Jorja Smith, in addition to Lisa Cain de Dias of Ivey. Focusing more on vocals than her previous work, the album features 13 tracks that draw on her house, disco, R&B, and soul roots, but also showcase her pop songwriting sensibilities.Archival recordings of her late father, William Richard Guy, are also interspersed throughout the album, and the combination of his words and Jayda G's deeply personal lyrics depict the life of her late father. The LP will be released on recycled eco-color vinyl along with the CD.
