Ronnie Laine & Slim Chance, formed by Ronnie Laine after he left The Small Faces to join The Faces, is still one of the most beloved albums of swamp and country rock in the U.K., and is a masterpiece that expresses the longing for America in the U.K. The album is a live recording from a short tour that Ronnie Laine did with Slim Chance 50 years ago. This is a live recording from a short tour that the current Slim Chance members did with Ronnie Laine and Slim Chance, following the route of the legendary Passing Show Tour of 50 years ago. After a great welcome at the Clun, not far from Fishpool, where Ronnie spent most of the 70s, the band headed north and played one of their favorite venues, the Greystones in Sheffield, where they were very happy to find out later that the show was recorded that night. This is such a live recording. You can relive the tasteful, heartwarming, heart-wrenching, and fun time with the music. Geraint Watkins, Billy Nichols, Brendan O'Neill, Frank Mead, Jim Russell, and other musicians provide excellent support.
