The Rolling Stones have been at the forefront of the rock scene for more than half a century since their formation in 1962, and are considered one of the premier rock and roll bands of all time. The Rolling Stones are also scheduled to release a new album in 2023. However, the band will begin a North American tour in August 2021, despite the sudden death of drummer Charlie Watts, an original member of the band. A rare live archive of The Rolling Stones in the 1960s will be released. 1965's album "The Rolling Stones No. 2" was released in the UK and reached No. 1 in the UK Album Charts, following their debut album. The band then embarked on a hard schedule of touring, playing over 200 shows as in the previous year. The Paris concert on April 17 of the same year was recorded and broadcast as a special program on a local radio station, and this album is a complete recording of the concert including the encore using the broadcasted material.Although the majority of the set list consists of cover numbers, this album is a great opportunity to fully enjoy the aggressive live performance of the young The Rolling Stones. Bonus tracks from the March 1965 show in Liverpool, England and the April 1967 show in Paris, France are also included.
