The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun / Animation Isao Takahata's long-awaited feature-length directorial debut, now on Blu-ray! This feature-length animation was released at the 1968 Toei Manga Parade (Toei Manga Festival). This feature-length animation was directed by Isao Takahata, who made his feature-length animation directorial debut, and was created by the elite staff of Toei Animation Studio at the time, including Hayao Miyazaki for scene design and original drawings, Yasuo Otsuka as animation director, and Koji Mori for original drawings. The story is about the adventures of Horus, a boy entrusted with the sword of the sun, who meets a young girl named Hilda and other animals, and unites with the villagers to fight demons.
