Friedrich Gulda (1930-2000), together with Jörg Dames and Paul Badura-Skoda, is known as one of the "Three Crows of Vienna. He was a gifted pianist known for his performances that transcended genres such as jazz and improvisation, in addition to his specialty, the works of the Viennese classical school. The recordings in this box are from live concerts held in Stuttgart between 1969 and 1979, all of which are first time recordings.
