The definitive album by The Rebels, a talented girl group from Liverpool who performed in Germany! The Rebels are an all-girl group from Liverpool. They were an all-girl group from Liverpool, Germany, and although they were not very glamorous in appearance, they were a talented teen beat group that mainly played R&B and R&R music. Cool all-girl groups that don't sell sex appeal or cuteness are commonplace nowadays, but this band was a pioneer in this field. When they appeared on stage, some were disappointed and said, "What, a girl band?" but by the end of the show, the audience had become fans of the band because of their groovy performance. Unfortunately, the band had no original hits and was not well known outside of Germany, but the story of The Rivers is being brought back into the limelight in 2019. It was turned into a musical by playwright Ian Salmon and performed as Girls Don't Play Guitars. The story of a teenage girl who forms a band with no musical instrument and stoically continues to play with the help of her friends is still a heartwarming one.
