Live recording of the Tokyo concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the premiere of "Our Homeland," a masterpiece in the Neumann-Czech Philharmonic's repertoire. This is the first SACD release in high-resolution format using ORT mastering, bringing back to life the latest mastering of this famous recording and performance! This is the first live recording of the masterpiece "My Homeland" performed by Neumann and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of its premiere in Japan in 1982. This is the first SACD release of this masterpiece, which has been listened to for a long time since its release, in high-resolution format using ORT mastering technology originally developed by Nippon Columbia. The CD layer also uses this mastered sound source. The live performance at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in 1982 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the premiere of "My Homeland," a special work not only for both musicians but also for the Czech nation, is now reissued with the latest ORT mastering. This is Neumann's first recording for ETERNA with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra (1967.(already reissued on SACD with Berlin Classics as 0301618BC in 2020), and an analog recording made in 1975 with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra for the second time on SUPRAPHON (reissued as TWSA1068 in 2020 as a SACD hybrid on a Tower project disc). This is the fourth official recording of "My Homeland" (sixth if other live recordings are included). This is the fourth official recording (sixth if other live recordings are counted) of "My Homeland" (the original was a session recording), and the enthusiasm of the audience was great, especially towards the end of the performance. The original recording was made by Nippon Columbia, and although the recording style is slightly different from that of SUPURAPHON, the recording by the technicians who were making practical advances in digital recording at the time is of a high standard even today, and is highly regarded among both recordings. The ORT reissue of the album will show the superiority of the digital recordings made by Nippon Columbia at that time.Also, being a live recording, detailed nuances can be confirmed more than before.
