Formed in 2010, Taeko Ito (Gt, Vo) and Tomohito Shinoda (Ba) are a guitarist-vocalist/bassist duo that has been active in the indie music scene, combining elements of blues, folk, rock, and other genres in a unique style that transcends genre boundaries. Celebrating their 15th anniversary, they finally made their major label debut. The first step is the song "To the Beautiful People," produced by Yoshiyuki Sahashi, which is a heart-warming song for all people who are moving toward the future. On the sound side, the band recording with top musicians was a challenge, and this ambitious work ventures into new expressions. The coupling track is a cover song, which is another appealing feature of T-jiji s. It is a Frank Sinatra masterpiece. It is a cover of "My Way," a Frank Sinatra classic that is also famous for the Japanese version by Akira Fuse. The song's lyrical theme of "continuing on the path we believe in" is in perfect sync with T-Jiji s' feelings as they move forward to a new stage of major label success, believing in their own path that they have been refining for 15 years, starting with singing in a corner of a bar and performing all over the country.
