CLOSE" won the Grand Prix at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival, where it was named "the film that made audiences cry the most" (BBC.com), and was nominated for the 95th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film, and received 47 awards and 104 nominations in various countries. Directed by Lucas Dong, who made a strong debut with his previous film "Girl," which won the Camera d'Or (Best New Director) at the 71st Cannes International Film Festival. In this, his second feature film, he delicately depicts the friendship and complex relationship between Leo and Remi, two 13-year-old best friends. The music is composed by Valentin Adjadi, who also directed Lucas Dong's previous film "Girl. For this film, he says he started writing the music from the script stage.It is a carefully crafted post-classical piece that takes its time, and the sound of the piano, strings, and oboe will move the viewer's heart.
