The Simple Carnival

Description:

Todd Rundgren is surprised? US male SSW Jeff Boller's one-man unit, The Simple Carnival, is an undiscovered talent that transcends the words "indie pop" and "home recording," and plays only dreamy harmony pop. The Simple Carnival, a one-man unit of Jeff Boller, a male SSW living in Pittsburgh, USA, secretly recorded their masterpiece "Girls, Aliens, and Food" in 2008. The band's multi-talented vocalist, who plays all instruments and vocals, is also remarkable, but there are too many things to mention, such as his beautiful, atmospheric singing voice and the sense of sound he makes. The most amazing thing about this album is the songwriting based on the best pop songs of the 60s. The comfort of the sound grains produced around a solid beat and mellow keys is also extraordinary.Really Really Weird" is full of good taste from the beautiful multiple choruses, but the rolling vibes and lala-lala chorus of the lovely sunny pop "02. Caitlin's On the Beach," the chic bossa nova "Over Coffee and Tea," and the refreshing neo-acoustic "You Jump First. Misery" is the best song on the album. Misery" is a masterpiece among masterpieces, with a trembling electric piano at the introduction, a melody that continues to resonate gently and sadly, and a voice that seems to speak to you. All in all, the 20 songs are too good to be true. What is even more interesting is the lovely artwork on the cover. The artwork on the cover alone is probably eye-catching. The domestic edition of the album comes in an A-format paper jacket, remastered by the artist himself, and with bonus tracks (including a cover of a Nilsson song and a cover of a Doobie Brothers song) chosen so as not to ruin the album's atmosphere.By the way, "20. Misery (Piano Version)" was newly recorded for the Japanese fans. We present to you an evergreen masterpiece that has absolutely nothing to do with fads and fashions!
