Ueno Yuko

Description:

Yuko Ueno's second CD, which has been performed in France and other European countries, features delicate and delicate lyric expression, heartbreaking contrasts and color changes in a thousand shades of purple and red, fresh poetic sentiment, and overwhelming dynamism that weaves the composer's mental landscape with great care. When the music is fused with Mr. Ueno's immeasurable sympathy and respect for the composer and his music, as well as his exceptional imagination, it soars to the heights of art with a freshness as if it had just been born. This is an album that should be listened to carefully and long (from Yudai Majima's liner notes). I would like to especially recommend the pianist Yuko Ueno, who is a wonderful artist. We who can listen to her enchanting and beautiful performances have the greatest bliss and luck in the world. <After graduating from Toho Women's High School of Music, Yuko Ueno went to Europe in her second year of college, where she received a diploma in piano from the International Piano Academy in Imola, Italy, and a concertist diploma in piano from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, France, recognized by Argerich, El-Basha, and Katsaris. In 2009, he received the Diploma in Chamber Music from the Conservatoire de Paris Ecole Normale de Musique with the unanimous approval of the jury. She has won many prizes at the All Japan Student Music Competition, Hamamatsu International Piano Academy Competition, Hummel International Piano Competition, and others. She has performed as a soloist at the Lake Stresa Maggiore Music Festival, the Tokyo Metropolitan Arts Festival, and the La Folle Journée "Day of Enthusiasm" Area Concerts in Japan and abroad, as well as with the National Orchestra of the Republic of Moldova, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, and Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to performing chamber music and visiting welfare facilities and schools, she also judges competitions and teaches at the Showa University of Music. She continues to perform abroad at the Salle Corcorot in Paris and the Theatre Bourges-Saint-Bonnet, and has appeared on the Italian national television RAI3 and Slovak FM. She has studied piano with Ryoko Fukazawa, Kazuko Aruga, F. Scala, L. Margarius, B. Petrushansky, the late G. Meunier, M. Rybitsky, and J.M. Luisada, and chamber music with G. Martiny. He is a regular member of the Japan Federation of Musicians, the All Japan Piano Teachers Association (PTNA), the Chopin Society of Japan, and the Japan-Russia Musicians Association.
