Dennis has been active as a bassist and songwriter for Pink Cream 69, Unisonic, Sunstorm, and others. This is the sixth studio album by Chimera, a project led by Dennis Ward, a producer known for his work on albums by ANGRA, Firewind, and Sinner. The project started out with a multi-instrumentalist from Italy named Daniel Riverani, but Dennis Ward joined as lead vocalist and bassist on the second album, "A New Promise" (2005). Until their next album, "The Greatest Wonder" (2008), the band was led by both Daniel and Dennis, but from their fourth album "Grand Design" (2015), their first in seven years, the project was restarted with Dennis at the center. And this time, it has been three years since their last album, "Master of Illusions" (2020).This album is the result of Dennis' skills as a vocalist, bassist, songwriter, and producer/engineer, which he has acquired through many bands. The result is a high quality melodic rock album.
