TOKONA-X, and more, has just released a new album in production. from the new album currently in production! Far East Under Construction! DJ TANAKEN Born in Tokyo. In 2001, he released an album and EP under the name of BACKGAMMON from Sony Music, and in 2002, he released the EP "Guerrilla Growing Platinum" under his own name, which invited some of Japan's leading rappers and charted in the Oricon Charts despite being an indie. In 2006, he released a sequel EP, "Still Growing," through KING RECORDS, and toured throughout Japan and Asia (China and Taiwan) with great success. He has been creating original worlds (lyrics) with his rich vocabulary, backed by a variety of sounds ranging from deep ambient to hard-edged beats. In August 2008, he was officially invited by the Cuban government to participate in the Hip Hop Festival Symposium, which has a 15-year history in Cuba, as the first Japanese artist to represent the country. In 2010, he relaunched the legendary "SAKAZUKI-" event, which is said to empty 20 bottles of tequila in one night.He has been traveling not only to Tokyo, but also to all over the world, and has been participating in "24 HOUR KARATE SCHOOL JAPAN", a joint project of Japan and the U.S. produced by a major HIPHOP producer SKI BEATZ, with ANARCHY, RINO LATINA II, KAN, and MACCHO. He participated in "24 BARS TO KILL" with ANARCHY, RINO LATINA II, KAN, and MACCHO. This innovative and powerful mic relay by 4 MCs representing the current Japanese rap scene created a new whirlwind in the Japanese rap world. The PV of "24 BARS TO KILL" immediately became a hot topic and was selected as the BEST VIDEOS in the Amebreak AWARDS 2010. In November of the same year, at the same time as the reunion, only 500 copies of the single "2U" were sold exclusively through BOOT STREET.
