Animal Collective, with their highly experimental sound, epitomized the US indie scene in the 00's and are still at the forefront of the scene with their unique musicality. Two of their masterpieces will be released simultaneously on newly-issued domestic CD! One is the 2004 album "Sung Tongs," which foresaw the future of US indie music that produced many talents such as Battles and Deerhunter, and marked the beginning of Anicole's musical adventure. Sung Tongs," which celebrated its 20th anniversary, is the work that defined their reputation in the early days of their career, and is now being released for the first time on CD in Japan, Now, for the first time, it is being released on CD in Japan.Rolling Stone hailed it as "one of the most creative and accomplished albums of 2004," and Pitchfork named it one of the best albums of the 2000s. This domestic CD release will include three additional bonus live tracks, "Leaf House," "Who Could Win A Rabbit," and "The Softest Voice." Celebrating its 15th anniversary, "Merriweather Post Pavilion" is an album in which the members' The album has been hailed as one of the best albums of the year by Pitchfork, Spin, KEXP, and others, and has established itself as a representative album of 2000s indie music. This newly-issued domestic CD will include "From a Beach (BBC Session)" as a bonus track, the first time the album has been released on CD.
