The group is popular in Japan and is scheduled to give six performances from September 20~29, 2024 with Inmo Jan and Daishin Kashimoto as soloists. This new Mozart album for Sony Classical features outstanding soloists from the Berlin Philharmonic, solo viola player Dhyan May, and first concertmaster, violinist Noah Bendix-Balgley. The most noteworthy is the version of the Clarinet Concerto arranged for viola solo. The soloist, Dhyan May, himself is the arranger. In the concerto symphony, Bendix-Balgary joins May as a soloist, creating a truly fresh Mozart image. Viola player Dhyan May has enjoyed an international career since winning the 2018 ARD International Music Competition. As a soloist, she has performed with prestigious orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, at renowned music festivals such as the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, and with renowned musicians such as András Schiff and Zabine Meyer.October 2019 He has been the first principal viola player of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra since and has been appointed solo viola player of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra since 2022. He also performs as a solo musician and has received numerous awards throughout his career. Noah Bendix-Balgley has been concertmaster and first violinist of the Berlin Philharmonic since 2014, following his retirement from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, Noah has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Dresden Philharmonic, French Radio Philharmonic, Oakland Philharmonic, and Nagoya Philharmonic, as well as the symphony orchestras of Shanghai, Utah, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore.An avid chamber musician, Bendix-Balgley is also a member of various ensembles, including the Rosamunde String Quartet and the genre-defying seven-piece Philharmonics.
