Flückiger is one of the world's most renowned horn players, Radovan Vlatkovic (former principal hornist of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, now a member of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra), who has played with the orchestra for over 30 years. Since 1990, he has been active as an international soloist and educator.) In 2017, he will perform the world premiere of a horn concerto commissioned by Swiss composer Hans Stari, and he is also exploring the contemporary horn repertoire.
