They have been expanding their fan base at a tremendous rate and are now playing on a bigger stage, making a name for themselves as a representative of the "new generation of metal bands" all over the world.In December 2009, the band suffered the tragic death of drummer The Rev, but overcame this hardship and released two consecutive #1 albums, 2010's "NIGHTMARE" and 2013's "HAIL TO THE KING", both with the help of drummer Mike Portnoy (formerly of Dream Theater). The band's latest album, "THE STAGE," was a surprise worldwide release in 2016 and debuted at No. 4 in the U.S. The band is an important hard rock act with an overwhelming presence. After breaking their long silence, the band returns to the scene with their long-awaited new album, "Set Me Free," a previously unreleased song from the studio sessions of their "HAIL TO THE KING" days in 2020, It seems that the time has finally come for the band to release their first studio album in about 7 years.
