Description:

Also includes Khachaturian, which won first place in the Recogei "Masterpieces of the New Era Plus 100"! Julia Fischer's shocking debut disc "Russian Concertos" is re-released in CD format! Julia Fischer's stunning debut album "Russian Concertos" featuring Khachaturian, Prokofiev (No. 1) and Glazunov's Violin Concerto will be re-released in CD format! Julia Fischer was 21 years old at the time of recording, but she has already established her own style, and her passionate and expressive playing is one of her greatest charms. The Khachaturian at the beginning. She shows a tremendous presence from the presentation of the first movement, the melody of which will remain in your ears once you hear it, and plays it with overwhelming technique and grandeur. In the second movement, Fischer's beautiful tone shines through in the lyrical and song-like theme, grabbing the listener's heart. The final movement, which is reminiscent of folk dances, is a superlative performance, ending with a powerful series of homophonic notes in the conclusion. This work was awarded the first prize in the special issue of Record-Geijutsu magazine's "Masterpieces of the New Era Plus 100".In Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1, recorded next, the composer himself described the first theme as "dreamy" and began to play it with exquisite singing, displaying a very rich expressiveness in the three-movement structure arranged in slow, rapid, and loose form. In the final Glazunov, Fischer's beautiful tone is brilliant from beginning to end. This concerto requires a high level of technique, using a variety of violin techniques, but the performance, which even gives a sense of leeway, takes one's hat off to Fischer. Please enjoy this enthusiastic performance with the Russian National Orchestra led by the late Yakov Kreizberg. King International
