Special tribute album to Badfinger's founding member, Pete Ham, released on 2 CDs! As part of the Speaker Wars, Lynch, along with vocalist John Christopher Davis, has created a gently rocking country-rock version of Badfinger's power-pop anthem "No Matter What. Davis and Indian vocalist Susmita Dutta rework the song into a psychedelic Hindu tune. Lynch also formed The Chefs with Dan Baird, formerly of the Georgia Satellites, for a lively cover of "I Can't Take It," one of the few songs in Pete Ham's catalog. Singer/songwriter Shelby Lynn's wistful soulfulness, Reckless Eric and Amy Rigby's spellbinding "Midnight Caller," Melanie's heartbreaking "Without You," Mary Karzen's "We're For the Dark" expression of love without limits. The album features a great collection of covers... All net proceeds from the album will be donated to MENTAL HEALTH AMERICA OF SOUTHEAST FLORIDA, a very important organization in the field of mental health care and suicide prevention.
