The great composer and conductor IGOR STRAVINSKY's previously unreleased stereo master of "The Soldier's Tale," originally released in 1961, has lain dormant since 1967, but this year, the 125th anniversary of his birth, the complete recording is being released 40 years later, This year marks the 125th anniversary of his birth, and 40 years after the recording, this complete version is being released. The narration is by Academy Award-winning actor Jeremy Irons. Mastering was done using Sony DSD technology to achieve high quality sound. Bonus track "Symphonies of Wind Instruments" [Kraft (conductor)] is included.
