In his recent solo works, Sam Prekop has been making full use of modular synths in his acoustic sketches, and this is one of his most extreme works along that line. The gentle melodies and the commitment to sonic texture that has continued from his past projects such as The Sea and Cake and Kado, Andachi, and Ground Duo are beautifully expressed with the use of synthesizers such as PROPHET5.
