Formed around 2015 in Philadelphia, DEVIL MASTER emerged in the early 80's advocating a post-punk/Japanese hardcore/early low & primitive black metal style of music. The band members' anonymity is heightened by the fact that they do not reveal their profiles or wear corpse paint, and they are also known as a mysterious collectible. This album may or may not include at least two members of a band that has toured in Japan and boasts top-class underground popularity/recognition... ■The sense of reverb and the single-note guitar phrases/riffs are a strong homage to the Japanese hardcore of the early 80s, while the skill and stability of the playing is reminiscent of its origins in the metal world.In his first new work in three years, he amplifies that worldview.
