David Charmant is a French guitarist and composer. He has collaborated with a wide variety of artists from classical to rock, including the Lavec sisters and Madonna, and is known for his experimental sound. For this album, he teams up with "Le Consort," led by the young harpsichordist Justin Taylor, to perform his own composition "Seven Particles. The first half is a collection of baroque works by Le Consort alone, and the fact that the minimalist and sometimes baroque style Charmant's works are followed by the minimalist and sometimes baroque style works does not cause any sense of discomfort, is the flexibility of Le Consort. This is a piece of music that transcends genres and eras, and is a charming piece of music. Naxos Japan
