Scar Symmetry

Description:

Scar Symmetry, the proud Swedish progressive melodic death metal band, releases their first new album in 9 years! The album is a carefully crafted concept album with intermingling clean and death voices that depict the world of AI, and is a must-listen for all extreme metal fans as well as progressive metal fans! Scar Symmetry is a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in 2004. The band had members who had played in famous bands such as Carnal Forge, and they were immediately signed by the prestigious American metal band Metal Blade. The following year, 2005, they made their album debut with "Symmetric in Design. The band's unique style of melodic death metal was met with a great response. The band then signed with Europe's largest metal label, Nuclear Blast, and released a series of consistently high-quality albums, including "Pitch Black Progress" (2006), "Holographic Universe" (2008), "Dark Matter Dimensions" (2009), and "The Unseen Empire" (2011), and a series of consistently high-quality albums. In particular, "The Singularity (Phase I: Neohumanity)" (2002), the first in a trilogy on the theme of AI, was highly acclaimed by both fans and the media. However, nine years have passed in the blink of an eye since then. Many fans may have given up on the idea of a trilogy, wondering if the project had been abandoned. However, Scar Symmetry was finally restarted. The long-awaited "The Singularity (Phase II Xenotough)" will be released. For the time being, their style is described as "melodic death metal," but the range of their music is really wide. With two vocalists, clean voices and death voices intermingle at a dizzying pace, and a wide variety of elements such as Swedish melodic death metal, heavy riffs reminiscent of Meshuggah, flashy keyboard solos, and even vocoders are packed into the music, which changes drastically. The music changes drastically. Scar Symmetry is known for its carefully crafted albums, and this one is no exception. It is difficult to find a similar band with such strong originality. The band's high emphasis on clean vocals is sure to appeal not only to extreme metal fans, but also to fans of progressive rock and traditional European metal. Members] Robert Carlson (vocals)Lars Palmqvist (vocals)Per Nilsson (guitar)Ben Ellis (guitar)Henrik Ohlsson (drums)
