Description:
Gecko & Tokage Parade, an instrumental band led by the unique pianist Wataru Sato, has been actively releasing numerous albums and performing at music festivals in Japan and abroad since moving to Playwright in 2019. The new album will be released on Sato's new label, Bookshop Label. The new album includes all remastered single songs that have been released in conjunction with the "Rawment" independent project that has been held since 2023. Also included are new songs "Raw" and "Moment," as well as a self-covered version of the main theme song from "Inheritance Detective," a Nittere Sat. 9 TV drama to be broadcast in January 2025, with Sato Wataru and Gecko & Tokage Parade in charge of accompaniment. They have been pushing piano, rose, and guitar sounds to the fore, but this album features synthesizer sounds throughout, and is an iridescent work that shows new possibilities for the band. It is an ambitious work that shows both the culmination of their past activities and the possibilities for the future. (C)RS
