Drugdealer, the project of Michael Collins, a psychedelic musician active in the LA psychedelic scene, has released their third album "Hiding In Plain Sight" on Mexican Summer, their first album in three and a half years, with a classic modern pop sound reminiscent of the Laurel Canyon sound of the 70's. The album chronicles Collins' journey from being dissatisfied and insecure with his own voice to finding love and a voice to sing it to those around him, including Tim Presley (White Fence), Kate Bollinger, Bambina, Sasha Winn, Sean Nicholas Savage, Sean Nicholas Savage, and Sean Nicholas. Sean Nicholas Savage, Video Age, John Carroll Kirby, and more.After working on various projects, Michael Collins started Drugdealer to explore the singer-songwriter sound of the early '70s under the influence of soft rock pioneers like Harry Nilsson and Steely Dan. In April 2019, the band will release its second album, "Raw Honey", also featuring Weyes Blood and Lemon Twigs, on Domino's Weird World label.
