The July 29 Fuji Rock appearance, their first performance in Japan since winning the Nobel Prize for Literature and their first appearance at a Japanese rock festival, will be their 101st show in Japan. This album commemorates the 40th anniversary of the band's first visit to Japan and the one-time live performance on a midsummer night on a stage that no one had ever stopped wishing for. Some of the recordings were released on CD-R, but with the exception of five songs from the 1966 show, this is the first time that these recordings have been released on CD.The recordings were made during a dramatic period in Dylan's career when he was making the transition from folk to electric music, and it was interesting to see how he performed live in response to his masterful studio recordings from the same period. It is also interesting to see how he performed live against the masterful studio recordings he made during the same period. In addition to recordings made in New York and London, there is also a recording made in Newport. The songs still have charm, no matter how much time has passed. And witness the joy of living in the same era: rock god Dylan, who turned 77 on May 24, 2018. He still tours more than 100 shows a year around the world, which is called "Never Ending Tour" by his fans.
