Having established a solid presence through their heaviness and visuals that evoke dark romanticism, they’ve returned to their roots and integrated their past, present, and future into a cohesive sound on their latest album, *DECADES*. Here is their latest incarnation, evolved to be heavier and more aggressive than ever—! Since their inception in Pennsylvania in 2005, Motionless in White—the dark heroes who continue to captivate audiences worldwide with their aggressive sound and striking visuals—have remained a force to be reckoned with. Their heaviness and visuals, which evoke both gothic and dark romanticism, along with their ferocious and original live performances—which seem to bring that very image to life—are among their most powerful weapons. For over 20 years, they have made the darkness their refuge and remained within a realm shrouded in their own unique shadows; now, they have completed a new album—their first in about four years since 2022’s *SCORING THE END OF THE WORLD*. *DECADES* marks Motionless in White’s seventh full-length album. It can be described as a return to their roots. On this album, while evoking their signature style, they demonstrate how they continue to confidently blaze trails into uncharted territory, spreading a touch of darkness in their wake. The album was recorded in upstate New York and Los Angeles with co-producers Drew Fulk and Justin “JD” Debrieck. During those recording sessions, the band incorporated elements of their past, present, and future into their sound. “When we’re in the studio, we try to challenge ourselves to do things we’ve never done before,” says frontman Chris Motionless. “‘DECADES’ is definitely heavier than some of our previous albums.
