Since their formation, they’ve stuck to their own rules and done exactly what they wanted, building a solid presence in the scene through nonstop touring and a steady stream of releases. Now, they have signed with Road Runner Records and are releasing *IDON'TWANNASAYGOODBYE*, their second album to date. ■The long-awaited new album, *IDON'TWANNASAYGOODBYE*. While their sound has shifted toward more anthemic tracks, their signature straight-ahead, authentic hardcore tracks remain as strong as ever. The songs on the album trace the inevitable crossroads everyone faces in life, and the album as a whole serves as an ode to everyday life and a tribute to those nights spent with the best friends—nights you never want to end. Recorded over three months in studios in Leeds, UK, and Toledo, Ohio, the album was produced by Matt Kerekes of Citizen. He accurately identified the direction the band was aiming for sonically, played a major role in maximizing the songs’ catchy potential, and further amplified their already memorable, catchy choruses. ■ The first single from the album is “Interstate Love Affair.” It’s a punk rock anthem that you can practically picture the crowd singing along to in unison at a live show. Don’t miss the explosive music video directed by Lewis Hernandez, which captures the intensity of their live performances. ■Now that they’ve made their major-label debut, HAYWIRE617 shows no signs of slowing down. Looking ahead to 2027, they’ve already scheduled over 250 live shows. These include headlining festivals like Sound & Fury, as well as opening for bands like Turnstile and The Circle Jerks.
