KATE WOLF, a singer and songwriter born in San Francisco, California, who started her career with the band WILDWOOD FLOWER in her late twenties when she was already a housewife with a child, and was called "the last folk singer" after going solo. She died of leukemia in 1986 at the age of 44, and this is a collection of rare live recordings from 1979 to 1982. The compilation includes performances at THE WELL, CROWN HALL, and GREENWOOD OASIS in Mendocino County, California. Eight of the 20 songs are previously unreleased, three of which are original KATE compositions. Compiled, produced and designed by his son MAX WOLF.
