Arny Margret, Iceland's remarkable new poetic singer/songwriter, will release his second album, I Miss You, I Do, on One Little Independent Records. 2022's minimal, folk On this follow-up to her debut, "they only talk about the weather," she works with a new American producer to hone a more textured, expansive, and mature sound. The album features sessions from Margret's travels to New York, North Carolina, and Colorado, as well as recordings made in Iceland.During an extensive international tour, she wrote many songs and befriended producers and musicians, each bringing their unique and individual talents to the project. On the album, Margret's atmospheric and introspective compositions are colored by a country-inspired full band ensemble, keyboard instruments, banjo, harmonium, and slide guitar. In pursuit of her creative vision, she has worked with producers Josh Kaufman (The National, Hiss Golden Messenger, The War on Drugs), Andrew Berlin (Gregory Alan Isakov's Evening Machines, for which he received a Grammy nomination), and Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Waxahatchee, Whitney).
